In my Top 10 for sure!! It's about good times on the dance floor, letting your hair down, holiday/house party kinda vibes – and open late.
Worth checking their IG for what's on when, as it does cater for a wide variety of genres on rotation including Dance, Disco, DNB, Euro-pop, Garage, Rockabilly, Soul and Live performances…
Recommend drink: Gin & Blood Orange
Real nights for all people. Independent. Love it.
THE MOST fun night ever! lovely staff / coolest DJS. as a girl from the countryside to be surrounded by lovely people grooving to soul I was super happy. plus the bar staff were lovely especially the dude with long black hair. cant wait to go back. also I lost my ID there and they responded really quick :)
The staff at the entrance was unnecessarily rude and even violent. One of my friends got yelled at for no reason at all to the point where she had to leave because of how bad she felt. We hadn’t even had enough drinks to think this was funny, just disrespectful. By the time we get to the cloakroom (the man is still yelling at us) and they’ve run out of room for coats so we keep them with us. We pay 6£ for a can of beer. Me and my friends were grabbed by a weirdo and so did another group of girls that we talked to in the toilet. The manager made sure to kick them out which I appreciated.
Good vibes going on here with mainly 20s-40s age group. Beers and cocktails, great Mojitos 😉! It gets packed on the weekends, so if you don't mind major shoulder rubbing, you will love it here. Only bad point I'd say is the location of the toilets, you have to squeeze your way through the busy dance floor everytime. Good points - No entrance fee, smoking area outside
Relatively cheap drinks but if there were ever a place that encapsulated song selection being more important than transitions this was it, the dj just didn't want to be there which didn't exactly create great vibes.
A good time was had! A great place for a spontaneous night out. Literally everyone in the place dancing and laughing, a genuine come as you are atmosphere. It’s a vibe
The fact that this was voted best bar in London is hilarious. How about worst bar in London. Tacky (bangers played but we can find that anywhere?). I’ve never been to a bar that hands out a laminated list of rules, and doesn’t allow drinks outside. Staff were aggressively picking up drinks. Save your sweet time, money and memories and don’t go here.
Fun place, packed busy sometimes and I feel the layout with the tables could be utilised better especially on a Saturday night. The security could be a bit friendlier
